When we moved down here to Texas I was really concerned because I’m the farthest thing from country in the world. My wife is from the South so she was more than excited but since I’m originally from upstate New York I knew it was going to be a really long transition. I was right and my language is slowly developing a bit of a Texas twang. I think the hardest thing right off the bat, though, was making friends since I feel like such an outsider sometimes but being members at the country club where I can play golf has really helped. Billy is great and he’s introduced me to tons of people and given me some good tips on living here as well. He told us about that great brisket place up the street and hooked me up with Shopelectricityratestexas.Com for our electricity so I can certainly thank him for helping make the transition easier. I like it here in Texas and I guess I’ll get used to it after all!
